Your Story Matters

Lifetime Expertise. Local Perspective. Genuine Connection.

I'm Jon Gilbert, the photographer behind Gilbert AZ Photography. As a high school photography teacher in San Tan Valley with over 20 years of experience, I spend every day immersed in the visual arts, helping the next generation master light, composition, and storytelling.

Whether it's a dramatic touchdown under the Friday night lights, a high school senior's confident milestone stride, or a family sharing laughs as the sun dips behind the San Tan Mountains, I make those memories last forever. My goal is to create a fun, completely stress-free experience for athletes, grads, and families across Gilbert, San Tan Valley, and Queen Creek.

Why Work With a Photography Educator?

Teens and seniors don't feel stiff or awkward around me because I interact with high schoolers every single day. I know how to bring out authentic expressions, put nervous dads at ease, and handle complex desert lighting without endless fussy delays.
